We are committed to support the community and now with funding support from North Tyneside Council’s Warm Welcome scheme we are delighted to join their programme.
We take our Pretendy Chef Team in to two locations, The Dudley Library at the John Willie Sams Centre and we are also working with Richardson Dees primary school to deliver a ‘Warm Welcome’ programme for their students and families after school.

This scheme will ensure families and young people have a safe, warm space to visit where they can take advantage of a free hot drink & light snack.
In addition to this, our team will also offer children to get involved in preparing and cooking snacks during the sessions.
How to get involved
The provisions and activities are completely FREE.
There is no requirement to pre-book for the Dudley Library, just turn up. Our offer here is on a Tuesday between 2.30-5.00pm
Richardson Dees however is currently only open to children and their parents who attend the school. Our offer here is on a Thursday between 3.30-5.00pm
What’s involved?
During the offer, adults & families are welcome to just pop in and grab a FREE hot/cold drink, maybe a buiscuit or slice, have a chat, chill out and enjoy a Warm Welcome. Stay as long as you like during the session.
There will always be hot/cold drinks and buiscuits, some week we may have cake, and the aim is over the colder winter evenings soup, chilli, curry and jacket potatoes (subject to availability)
There will be books, board games, kids area and twice per month we will get kids involved with some food activities.
