For definition purposes, a ‘child’ in relation to family or child ticket is those aged under 12 at the time of the activity. If you are asked for proof of age this must be provided prior to participation.

Workshop Terms and Conditions

All bookings are subject to availability and a waiting list may be applied to activities which are oversubscribed. A waiting list will allocate any spaces in chronological order only based on the registration date.

Where family /child tickets are in use, the adult participant shall remain responsible for any child in their party at all times. Unless specified children under 12 may not attend an event/activity unsupervised.

We are unable to accommodate spectators or additional family members, access is strictly limited to those who have a vlid participation ticket.

Existing bookings will not be able to take advantage of any newly reduced/sale prices for the class already booked.

Package classes are non-transferable and are valid for one individual.

It may be necessary for ingredients to be pre-weighed and, in some instances, cooked and prepared ahead of the class to save time.

Where possible we will cater to dietary requirements however, in some cases alternatives may not be provided.

Enrolment / Booking:

Single Classes: To enrol on a class, full payment is required to complete your booking. Once you have booked, your place is guaranteed.

In some of our children only classes, participants may be asked to cook in pairs (or in threes for those booked as part of a bigger group). If you would like your child to be grouped with others or to cook alone, we may be able to accommodate you, but this is subject to the size and numbers booked on to the class. Please email us the details

Family Classes: To enrol on a class, full payment is required to complete your booking. Once you have booked, your place is guaranteed.

The ‘Family’ group must consist of one adult aged 16 or over and a minimum of one child aged under 12. Some events may restrict the maximum number of children per family ticket, please see individual event tickets for details.

In most classes the family group may have their own workstation, or depending upon the size of venue, share with one other family group.

Kids

Where we offer children only classes, we have a minimum age of 7 for any child to attend unsupervised by a parent / guardian. However the child must be accompanied to / from the venue by an appropriate adult.

Our community masterclasses will involve adults attending on their own, therefore we can only accept a child aged 12 or over may attend a community masterclass on their own.

Please be aware, regardless of age, should any person cause disruption, or where we feel they pose a safety hazard to themselves or others, we reserve the right to have them removed from the activity and no refund will be issued.

We do not have the insurance to cover additional unpaid people at our activities, nor the space to allow people to observe / watch. Everyone present must have a valid ticket, this includes any parents or guardians during our kids’ classes.

Discounts

Discount codes or rules may apply, please see individual events for full details

It is the responsibility of the booker / participant to check the discount rules prior to completing a booking. No retrospective discounts can be applied once a booking has been processed and confirmed.

Where a refund is processed, the discounted price shall be offered, minus the standard £1.00per ticket booking processing fee. The processing fee per ticket is outside of our control and does not refunded back to us.

A ticket may be transferred to an alternative date instead of refunded. If you wish to transfer your ticket to a new date, you must email a request to us with a minimum 48 hours notice prior to the event date. Only one transfer per booking is allowed and will be subject to availability. A transfer request can be held for re-booking for up to three months.

Should you choose to gift your ticket it must be to a person who can comply with the tickets validity. Should you gift your ticket to someone, it is your responsibility to obtain any money owed and you must notify us via email at bookings@quadrantleisure.org

We are not liable should participants fail to turn up or miss a class due to circumstances outside of our control such as weather, travel, illness, or any other situations.

In the event we need to cancel a class, we will notify you by email and aim to provide a minimum 24hours notice where practical. You will then have up to six months from the date of the cancelled class and for the value of that cancelled class, to re-book. If this option does not suit you, we can issue a full refund back to the original payment method.
