Building Social Connections

OVERVIEW

As a social enterprise we work across all ages within the community, our mission for the ‘Be Connected’ project is to dispel any view that older adults are a burden on society and promote the view they are valuable and important assets to be placed at the very heart of a community. In doing so we can transform older people’s lives, nurture creative aspiration, support free or at least nominal cost based services and build community, reversing the declining quality of life and well-being of the elderly.

We will do this through a wide and varied range of healthy living, community learning, befriending, support and physical activity programmes for older people of all abilities and interests. This will be delivered at our base in Dudley and we shall offer an outreach service within the ward to bring those less mobile to our facility where possible.

ACTIVITIES
