Our COMMUNITY SEN PATHWAY offer is primarily aimed at children and young people (currently 12 to 25 years) with MILD TO MODERATE additional needs or Disabilities and their families. Unfortunately at this stage our sessions are not suitable for those with high level or severe disabilities.

The offer focuses on SEN activities and events based at our sites across Tyneside.

THE OFFER

SEN Community Hubs: Offer young people (14-25) the chance to meet in a safe environment, where they can socialise outside school, form new friendships, and acquire the skills necessary to become more confident and independent. (currently on hold as we seek new venue)

SEN Fitness Sessions: Offering a special package aimed at helping all young people with SEN improve the physical wellbeing by attending our gym facility with a special SEN Fitness Package. Read more here

SEN Cookery Workshops: The workshops are aimed at all ages, families and special schools as a personal development opportunity by giving young people experience of preparing, cooking and understanding food and nutrition. Read more here
