Free Courses for 10-16s

We are delighted to be able to offer a number of FREE online accredited courses for 10 to 16 year olds who live within North Tyneside.

Once set up, these courses can be accessed anywhere via a PC, laptop or mobile etc.

For young people who reside within the Weetslade Ward (Dudley, Annitsford, Burradon) the courses shall be FREE. All other young people can access courses for £10.00 per course.

How to get started

• We require a valid mobile and email address for course contact link
• After registration, you will be emailed a link for your training dashboard
• Your username and password will be emailed separately
• Your dashboard will show the courses available to you
• On completion certificates shall be posted to your home address

Who administers the training?

All our online certified courses are set up through HIGH SPEED TRAINING. Courses are CPD certified, and are endorsed through ROSPA, iiRSM approved training and IATP.

Course Overview

Mental Health Awareness: This Mental Health Awareness course will help to increase your understanding of common mental health problems and of your own mental health, including how or when it might suffer, and what you can do about it..

Safeguarding Essentials: This Level 1 Safeguarding Essentials course provides you with the skills and knowledge that you need to keep people safe. It covers both adults and children, as any of us could fall victim to abusive or exploitative behaviours. 

Workplace First Aid: Accidents and incidents requiring a first aid response can occur at any time and this course will give you the confidence to respond to these potentially life-threatening situations quickly and correctly.
